Rooted in Mexican and Latin American traditions, requinto guitars are smaller versions of the classical guitar with a shorter scale length and a notably deeper body depth. Ortegas RQ38 Requinto Guitar is not only suitable for tro romntico groups and traditional folk music, but its also a great instrument for acoustic performances where amplification is not possible as theyre much louder than a traditional small-body guitar. The Ortega RQ38 Requinto features a tonewood combination of Engelmann spruce with sapele in a satin finish. Other features include an okoume neck, 2-way truss rod and walnut fretboard and bridge.
